What is a DOT Exam?

The Department of Transportation (DOT) exam is a mandatory physical examination for Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to safely operate commercial vehicles. This comprehensive evaluation is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and is essential for obtaining or renewing a CDL.
